Musk: engineers working 24 hours a day on capsule

Understandable. Right now, I have one the world's best engineering teams who normally design spaceships and spacesuits working on this thing 24 hours a day. We are trying to get it right in a very short period of time. If it isn't needed or won't help, that would be great to know. Otherwise, it would be very helpful to have as much design direction as possible.

About this email

Musk says his spacecraft engineers are working around the clock and asks Stanton to say if the device is not needed, or otherwise to give more design direction.

Notes

Musk Decl. Ex. C (email chain with British cave diver Richard Stanton, July 6-8, 2018). The exhibit prints the chain newest-first with timestamps from two mail clients (Pacific time and Thailand time), so the exact send time of individual messages is uncertain; the date is a best reading. Transcribed from a scanned exhibit; minor OCR variance possible. Musk posted screenshots of part of this chain on Twitter on July 10, 2018. 'one the world's best' is as written.
