Stanton: a capsule that tightly fits a 15-year-old will pass

We don't have this, it won't mean anything without scale. If you make a capsule which tightly encloses a 15 year old boy, and no bigger, it will fit through.

About this email

Stanton says no video is available and that a capsule tightly enclosing a 15-year-old boy would fit through the cave.

Notes

Musk Decl. Ex. C (email chain with British cave diver Richard Stanton, July 6-8, 2018). The exhibit prints the chain newest-first with timestamps from two mail clients (Pacific time and Thailand time), so the exact send time of individual messages is uncertain; the date is a best reading. Transcribed from a scanned exhibit; minor OCR variance possible. Musk posted screenshots of part of this chain on Twitter on July 10, 2018.
